3 rounds of negotiations in Kyiv completed—and results are in.
As most of us expected, no agreement has been reached today in Kyiv. Yet president Zelenskyy announced that the most important result is that negotiations have re-started. (And now, the European security specialists are also involved, I would say.)
At his post-talks press briefing, Zelenskyy emphasized that defense is plan B—plan A is diplomacy.

The second round was held with participation of the European national security advisors: Ukraine, the United States, and the E3 countries – France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
There was also a meeting of NSAs.

At the post-talks press-conference, Ukrainian and international journalists didn’t hold back with their questions (free press💪)—and boy, did Steve and Jared show up their colors!
It’s beyond obvious the duo are there to serve Putin’s and Trump’s interests—obviously, Putin told them Ukraine is desperate and must accept his terms, or else.
- Kushner: “President Putin has his aspirations and these obviously must be achieved once this is concluded.” “President Putin has his objectives […] and we’ll continue to have positive dialogue in order to find a pathway to get there.”
- Witkoff: “I visited Moscow 8 times and 3 times with Jared, and president Putin treated us very respectfully.”
These 2 are not negotiators—they are Trump’s and Putin’s errand boys. Ukraine is in the way for the Trump clan to make money with Putin’s clan.
Having a press conference after the talks was a brilliant move by the Ukrainian side.
