Things continue to worsen in Crimea. Russian military and their families are being evacuated. Authorities installed by Russia in occupied Crimea have declared a state of emergency.

This includes both Sevastopol and the entire peninsula. The state of emergency was declared on on Friday, June 26,
This declaration comes following reports of fuel shortage on the peninsula. The fuel shortage follows intensified Ukrainian strikes on incoming logistics.
The declaration was made governor of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, who was installed by Russia. He said the state of emergency came into force at 1 p.m. on Friday and will remain in effect until the situation stabilizes, if the situation stabilizes.
“This state of emergency will remain in effect until the situation improves,” Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said in a Telegram video address announcing a citywide state of emergency.”
The lack of control is raising doubt in the minds of the residents about the ability of the Russian government to control the situation.
Aleksandr (Taxi driver in Crimea): Voiced deep concern over his livelihood to CNN:”I’ve asked banks about what to do regarding the loans. There simply won’t be any money to pay them — and soon, we won’t have anything to eat, nor the means to buy food.”
Anonymous Sevastopol Resident: Told CNN that military intercepts and air raid alerts had become a daily occurrence, noting that the city had become “more dangerous.”
Local Supermarket Shopper: Described the conditions to CNN during empty supply periods: “We wanted to grab something to eat but there’s nothing. The shelves are empty.”
Moscow resident holidaying in Feodosia: Told Agence France-Presse that “everyone is afraid: locals and visitors alike” and that during overnight attacks, “The sky was like Star Wars,” prompting them to pray all night.
So the situation continues to deteriorate in Crimea. Bridges to the Ukrainian mainland have been bombed.
And Ukraine is stopping supply ships. Do not be surprised if Crimea changes hands before the end of Summer.
And Russia is forced to withdraw from Southern Ukraine.
