The Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, is set to redefine the maritime economy with the Lagos Seafood Festival, an initiative designed to celebrate and promote the state’s aquatic splendor in 2025.
Through this event, the government aimed to showcase Lagos’ maritime tourism and the commercial potential of its seafood industry to investors within and outside the country.
The festival, themed “Buy, Eat, Party,” will be held from April 24th to 26th, 2025, across three locations in the state: Lagoon Restaurant, Victoria Island; Anuoluwapo Fish Market, Law School, Victoria Island; and Oluwo Fish Market, Epe.

With a focus on promoting aquaculture and culinary tourism, the festival aims to preserve rich seafood trade, drive sustainable business strategies, and reinforce the state’s position as a leading maritime hub in West Africa.
