94 Russian surrender as they are abandoned by their officers -Russian POWs reveal

Some 94 Russian soldiers have surrendered to Ukraine. They claim that their chain of command abandoned them in the war.

The POW described the deplorable conditions which they found themselves in.

One said: “We had no water at our positions. We had to drink water from puddles,” he stated. “We had to drink our own urine.” Another Russian fighter recounted the terrible event of having “one of our guys” die from dehydration.

According to the Russian soldiers, Putin could not even supply them with water to drink. The situation was so bad that at least one soldier met his demise from dehydration. The soldiers were left to their own devices to obtain the necessary food and water.

Another added, “We had no food. We had to eat tree bark and grass,” while another prisoner explained, “We ate nettles, cooked them on a burner, made a sort of nettle soup. We were sitting there starving, for ****’s sake.”

Operation Vivaldi has prevented Russia from supplying Its own troops. Russia has been unable to supply its troops with ammunition Many find themselves fighting with little or no ammunition

The same soldier spoke candidly about how “our [Russian] command simply forgot about us.” To them, we were just expendable material. “That’s why the decision was made to surrender.”

This last statement is very critical.

It reflects how the Russian soldiers perceive How their commanders feel about them It reflects how the Russian soldiers perceive their value to their country. It reflects how Russian soldiers view the sacrifices they are being called upon to make.

Have no question but that this attitude is getting back to the nation of Russia. This attitude is impacting Russia’s ability to recruit new soldiers. This attitude is a primary reason why the morale in the Russian military is so low.

But don’t expect anything to change. Putin still views his soldiers as expendable. He views his soldiers as fungible. He views his soldiers as a sacrifice he is willing to make in order to achieve his goal.

However, with the attitude of the soldiers, the way it is, Putin should suspect more surrenders. Putin should suspect more loss of territory. Putin should suspect the casualty count to grow.
