Muhammadu Buhari dies in London

Former President Muhammadu Buhari is dead.

He died today, Sunday, July 13 in London.

His spokesman, Garba Shehu, announced this afternoon.

“INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHIRRAJIUUN.

“The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
“May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.”

Buhari left office on May 29, 2023.

He handed over to President Bola Tinubu.

The former president recently fell ill and was taken to England to seek treatment with his doctors.

He was still undergoing medical treatment when he died on Sunday.
