Nigeria’s largest power distribution company, Ikeja Electric (IE) Plc, recently celebrated the successful 2026 Convocation Ceremony of its Safetainability School—a leading training institution established under the Sahara Group initiative.

The IE Safetainability School integrates occupational safety and health (OSH) principles with sustainability practices, aiming to broaden professionals’ perspectives and foster global solutions through collaborative, innovative approaches.

The school emphasizes “Safe Thinking and Sustainable Living,” aligning its mission with enhancing the well-being of people, protecting the planet, and driving prosperity. Marking its achievement in youth empowerment and human capital development, the company took to its social media platform to highlight the event.

Beyond receiving certificates, the graduates embraced a greater purpose—reinforcing that safety and sustainability are not merely regulatory obligations but fundamental pillars of progressive, future-focused organizations.

With this milestone, Ikeja Electric reaffirmed its dedication to building a safer, more sustainable future through impactful education and transformational initiatives.
