Hexing Livoltek Opens Facility in Nigeria to Boost Jobs, Clean Energy Solutions
Hexing Livoltek, a global leader in technology, has announced plans to establish a manufacturing facility in Nigeria, focusing on advanced metering systems and solar energy solutions. This move is expected to boost local employment while supporting Nigeria’s growing demand for renewable energy.
The announcement was made during a luncheon attended by Adebayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power, who praised the company for its commitment to tackling Nigeria’s energy challenges. Hexing Livoltek aims to reduce the country’s reliance on imported products and promote self-sufficiency in clean energy solutions. The project is expected to generate hundreds of jobs in manufacturing, engineering, and support services.
Zhang Shiquan, Chief Executive Officer of Hexing Group, spoke at the unveiling of the company’s new headquarters in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. He described the opening of Hexing Livoltek’s Nigerian headquarters as a significant step in the company’s mission to support Nigeria’s transition to sustainable energy.
Shiquan expressed his excitement about Hexing’s expansion into Nigeria, calling it a crucial moment for both the company and the country’s clean energy future. “This is more than just opening an office; it’s a step towards a future where clean energy powers the growth of this great nation,” he said.
With over 30 years of global experience in smart energy systems, solar technology, and digital infrastructure, Hexing is bringing its expertise to Nigeria to help meet the country’s energy needs and unlock its vast potential.
Hexing Livoltek’s local production will focus on smart metering solutions and advanced solar technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency and sustainability in Nigeria’s power sector. Robert Liang, CEO of Hexing Group, emphasised that their presence in Nigeria goes beyond setting up a local office, as they aim to make a tangible impact on the country’s shift towards clean and sustainable energy.
“We’re not just here to sell products; we’re here to invest in Nigeria’s future. Soon, we’ll begin manufacturing locally, creating jobs, building local expertise, and contributing to Nigeria’s economic growth,” Liang said.
He also highlighted Nigeria’s growing economy and population as key drivers of the need for reliable and sustainable energy solutions. “Nigeria is on the verge of an energy revolution, and we are here to support that transformation,” Liang added.
