Dangote Salt threw big celebration for 50 top customers and distributors
…Gives out trucks and cash credits as a thank-you.

The 2025 Customers Dinner and Awards Night took place Thursday in Abuja, drawing in some big names—Africa’s top industrialist and Dangote Group President, Aliko Dangote, and Vice President Olakunle Alake showed up to personally honour the winners.
NASCON Allied Industries Plc, better known as Dangote Salt, is part of Dangote Industries Limited. They make refined salt and the Dangote Classic Seasonings you see everywhere in Nigeria.
At the event, Aliko Dangote made it clear that recognizing customers isn’t just good manners—it’s smart business. He said the company’s focus on customer service sets it apart, and he thanked the board, management, and staff for keeping Dangote Salt at the top of the market. Their hard work, he said, keeps the company’s reputation strong and fuels its long-term success.
Dangote also laid out the future: more investment in the brand, a smoother supply chain, and smarter digital moves. But he stressed that none of it matters if the company loses touch with its customers. Their feedback, he said, keeps everything on track.
Olakunle Alake, the Board Chairman and Dangote Group Vice President, echoed that point. As a company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Dangote Salt has to answer to shareholders and the public, he said, but real confidence comes from customers who believe in the brand. For him, customer service isn’t just a company value—it’s a strategic advantage.
He called the awards a celebration of partnership, making it clear that success only happens when the company and its customers work together.
Fatima Aliko Dangote, the new Group Executive Director for Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals, also took the stage. She thanked customers for their loyalty, saying their support is the backbone of the company’s growth. She pointed out that every winner has gone above and beyond—whether by driving sales, expanding markets, or simply sticking with the brand for years.
Mariya Aliko Dangote, another new Group Executive Director overseeing Commercial operation for Cement and Foods, agreed. She said she’s just stepped into her new role, and it’s already obvious: the customers’ support is what drives Dangote’s success. Real growth, she added, comes from listening to the market and putting customers first.
Aderemi Saka, Managing Director of NASCON Allied Industries, summed it up: the whole point of the awards night was to celebrate and thank the customers. The company’s own success, he said, depends on theirs.

Ali Balarabe, speaking for the awardees, thanked the Dangote team for recognizing their efforts and promised to keep supporting the brand. He walked away with a 20-ton truck and a cash credit, a clear sign of the company’s appreciation. Other winners included Alhaji Ibrahim Achida, Muabsa Integrated Services, Fanisau Enterprises, Idris Saleh Nigeria Limited, Sani Adamu Trader, and GIA Global Concept. All of them left the night knowing their loyalty and hard work really matter.
