NNPC Joins UN Sustainability Initiative

Mele Kyari, the Group CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has the letter of commitment to join the United Nations Global Compact, world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative.

The Kyari signed the letter in a short ceremony on the sidelines of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s session during the Global Africa Business Initiative at the ongoing United Nations General Assembly.

By this development, the NNPC became the first state-owned oil company in Africa to sign up to join the sustainability initiative, signifying the NNPC’s participation in the UN Global Compact.
