COP28: NNPC Seals LNG, CNG Deals for Domestic, International Market
Jean-Marc Cordier, Renowned Oil Trader, Joins NNPC Ltd

Jean-Marc Cordier, former Vice President of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has joined the services of Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited to launch the petroleum trading division, NNPC Trading Ltd.
An official statement from the NNPC said Cordier’s appointment continues the company’s continued repositioning toward better growth, better results and better service delivery.
Cordier, French and Swiss national, holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance with honors from the University of Paris 9. Extensive experience in the reorganization and creation of commercial activities.
Was 24 years at Elf Trading/Total Trading in various positions such as Trader, Trading Desk Manager in Geneva and four years as Clobal Trading Manager at Addax Energy in Geneva.
With Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, held the positions of Vice President, Middle Distillates, Senior Vice President, Risk Management and a senior member of the team responsible for building the business of ADNOC and responsible for the launch was ADNOC Global Trading (AGT) in December 2020.
According to the NNPC, Cordier has since assumed responsibility within the company.
